The moment before
On mirrors, getting ready, and the version of yourself no one else gets to see first.

There is a moment, every time, before the door opens. She has done her hair. The outfit is on. She reaches for the jewellery last, always last, because it is the part that finishes the sentence.
Hause of Asmira began with that moment. Not with the room, or the compliments, or the photographs. With the mirror, and a woman recognising herself in it.
Before she is seen
We talk a great deal about how a woman is perceived. We talk far less about how she perceives herself, in private, with no audience. That is the moment we design for. If a piece does not make her stand a little differently alone in her bedroom, it will not do it in a ballroom either.
Every piece is created to hold that moment. Not a version made for someone else. Her version.
